Abundant Housing MA believes that Massachusetts is for everyone! We envision a future where every Massachusetts community is open and welcoming to all households, regardless of race, income, age, or ability. We work everyday to ensure that Massachusetts has a housing market that allows people to move where they want and when they want, not when they have to.

We invite you to join as an AHMA member today!

We’re proudly a member based organization and our membership driven revenue provides us the financial stability necessary, along with additional donations, to continue pro-housing advocacy throughout the state.

In return, we offer our members the tools to become more effective in their local advocacy, a community for collaboration and connection, and easy ways to plug into statewide legislative efforts.

Our goal is to empower you to be the most effective advocate you can be!

Membership at every level has its benefits and we’re focused on building a pro-housing community consisting of individual advocates; pro-housing affiliate organizations, non-profits; and businesses that support our mission.

Benefits of individual membership include:

Access to members-only online communities through our Discord server which allows you to connect with other pro-housing activists throughout the state
Get connected within our pro-housing network with policy action alerts, updates on community organizing and housing initiatives.

Members-only access to events, trainings & workshops (ex. how to advocate for town meetings, briefings on legislative agenda, lobbying and more)

In addition, all AHMA members receive special access to resources from the Welcoming Neighbors Network (WNN), a national coalition that connects pro-housing organizations & organizers across the country. These resources include a directory of pro-housing organizers & advocates, peer learning groups, resource library of guides, case studies, templates, and examples for building organizations and running campaigns and many more tools!

Affiliates are grassroots groups of local pro-housing champions. They drive change in their neighborhood, city, or town by bringing together like-minded advocates in support of more homes. Benefits include all those made available to individual members, plus:

Organizing support from AHMA’s team of expert community organizers, including but not limited to assistance on topics such as: creating a mission/vision; power-mapping, campaign planning, membership engagement, event support & more
Use of AHMA-sponsored digital organizing tools such as EveryAction CRM for online and in-person advocacy, the Scale 2Win text-banking platform, and voter lists to reach new members in your community
Eligibility for AHMA mini-grants and stipends to support local organizing activities
