2025 Boston City Council Questionnaire Responses
In advance of the Boston City Council elections this fall, we launched a housing-focused candidate questionnaire to foster dialogue and greater awareness of policy proposals designed to address the housing affordability crisis.
The questionnaire features 10 questions that surveys candidates’ stances on recent initiatives like Squares and Streets and Inclusionary Development, bringing down rent prices for subsidized and market rate housing, improving the City’s zoning code, and legalizing more homes.
