Endorsed Candidates

Abundant Housing MA endorses candidates committed to advancing a future where Massachusetts residents enjoy an abundance of affordable housing choices.

Our goals in endorsing candidates are to 1) Support pro-housing champions running for elected office through increased visibility and the backing of our members and 2) Bring awareness to the policy solutions needed to build affordable and sustainable communities.

You can view candidates responses to our questionnaire here.

AHMA’s endorsement process is centered on the input and expertise of our member organizations. After candidates complete a brief questionnaire, our Elections Committee reviews their responses and discusses each candidate based on their alignment with AHMA’s mission, demonstrated commitment to pro-housing policies, effectiveness, and political viability. Each AHMA affiliate group or member organization has the opportunity to appoint a representative to our Elections Committee. Endorsements are determined by a vote of committee members, with candidates required to receive at least 70% support.
