Join pro-housing advocates from across Massachusetts for the inaugural Housing Abundance Symposium—a dynamic half-day gathering designed to inspire, connect, and equip advocates with the tools to advance housing abundance across the Commonwealth.
Whether you’re a longtime organizer, a local elected official, a community leader, or just beginning your advocacy journey, this free event offers an opportunity to learn alongside fellow advocates, exchange ideas, and build the skills needed to create lasting change in your community.
This year’s symposium features a keynote conversation with New York Times columnist Jamelle Bouie and AHMA Executive Director Jesse Kanson-Benanav, exploring how national housing challenges intersect with local action and what it will take to build a stronger movement for more homes in Massachusetts.
Attendees will also choose from a series of interactive workshops focused on organizing, policy, communications, and campaign strategy, designed to provide practical skills you can put to work immediately. The symposium will also include our Celebration of Abundance Luncheon, where we’ll recognize the outstanding advocates, affiliate groups, and partners whose work has advanced housing abundance over the past year.
