Work With Us

Housing Medford Part-Time Organizer

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

Housing Medford is a volunteer group of people who live or work in Medford, MA and want to work toward greater housing affordability in the City. Housing Medford began in September 2018 as the “Housing in Medford Coalition” with support from the Citizens Housing and Planning Association (CHAPA) through their Municipal Engagement Initiative.

Housing Medford’s mission is to identify and advocate for affordable housing solutions that expand options to meet the housing needs of people of different incomes, abilities, and stages of life.

We actively support policies, zoning changes, funding, and projects that create housing to address Medford’s diverse housing needs. We seek to collaborate with those who care deeply about Medford and want to join us in assuring that we continue to be a thriving, welcoming, and inclusive city.

With the support of Abundant Housing MA, we are excited to bring on a part time organizer to help organize and expand our volunteer base and sustain our momentum through outreach/recruiting, coalition building and event planning.
